If you're heading to Naples, Florida and want to stay somewhere stylish, comfortable, and centrally located, the AC Hotel Naples 5th Avenue is a fantastic choice. We stayed here recently while in town for a family event, and even though this wasn't a full sightseeing trip, we had such a great experience that I had to share the highlights.

First Impressions & Arrival

The AC Hotel is a newer property right in the heart of Naples, tucked along the vibrant 5th Avenue South and just across from Tin City, a quirky, waterfront spot in Naples with tin-roofed shops, local eats, and a touch of old Florida charm.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Check-in was quick and friendly. The hotel itself, has a sleek, European-inspired design and feels warm and welcoming.

The Room

Our room was simple but beautifully done. The neutral palette, clean lines, and spacious layout made it feel open, calming, and thoughtfully designed. We especially appreciated the long bench along one wall—perfect for sitting, storing luggage, or spreading out. I wish all hotels had something similar.

We also loved the small refrigerator stocked with free bottled water and chilled glasses, a welcoming touch after a warm Florida afternoon. My only complaint? The bathroom doors. They look great but are hard to close and don’t offer much privacy. A small design quirk in an otherwise well-appointed space.

What We Did

We’ve been to Naples many times. On this visit, we were in town for a family gathering, so only did a bit of sightseeing. The hotel’s location made it easy to sneak in a few memorable outings. We wandered along 5th Avenue, browsed some of the local boutiques, and stopped by the Naples Pier for a short beach walk and collected a few of Florida’s beautiful white seashells.

One highlight was touring the Revs Institute, home to one of the top car museums in the world. I’m not a car fan but was impressed and enjoyed seeing so many cars with historical significance.

Local Explorations

Naples has no shortage of great places to eat, and we sampled a few during our stay, including cocktails at Limon, the hotel’s rooftop bar and restaurant. The ambiance is stunning, elegant and open, with a great view.

We also tried Rosedale Brick Oven for pizza and pasta, but our favorite meal of the trip was at Mr. Bigfish. The seafood was excellent, and the service made us feel right at home.

What We Loved Most

The hotel’s rooftop pool area and bar were absolutely beautiful—perfect for a sunset cocktail or a midday break. I also loved the little extra touches throughout the hotel: the chilled water and glasses, the essential oil shower bombs available in the morning (such a treat!), and that smart bench in the room. I wish I would’ve taken a photo of it!

A Few Tips

  • Take advantage of the rooftop pool and bar for a peaceful break in the day.

  • Don’t miss the morning shower bombs in the lobby—I wish they offered them in the evening, too.

  • There is a $20/per night fee for parking. During our stay, had two rooms and were charged for both rooms, even though we only had one car, so check your bill. I was able to get it easily resolved and refunded with one phone call.

We’ll definitely be staying at the AC Hotel Naples again next time we’re in town.
